Chorley to Darwen - The hard way…

Breem goes for a walk…!
I walked the moors between Chorley and Darwen, up to 1,250 ft at one point and lots of up and down and boggy stuff. Lost the path the odd time and fell in two streams and didn’t see anyone other soul or even a road for about 2 and half hours, was ace! Took me 4 hours from one railway station to the other and was about 12 miles… Legs hurt today 
I used to live in Chorley and did half the walk a few times but always had to turn round and go back. I’ve been wanting to do the whole route for ages and now I have!
Ruined Farm on the route… named Drinkwaters Farm as it is near a pure spring.

I just found this on the net today and it really floats my boat lol. Ben Templesmith is an American comic book and film artist, he has a great website here full of cool drawings and what he’s been up to etc
