Bad news - Hardcore original BassGenerator is retiring, sad news, he was always a cut above. I was never mad into hardcore but growing up in the 90s in the north-east it was pretty much impossible to not hear Judgement Day/After Dark/Fantazia etc tapes all the time and BassyG was always playing a bit more original sound than most of them

Anyway, the good news is that as a going away present he is selling a massive amount of tunes he’s played and released on his record label over the last 20 years

20 quid for 40 hours of hardcore, all for a good cause as well.

So, you know, for every toy that’s popular there are 1000s of cheap ripoffs….someone has collected together some awesome pictures of the best ones. I genuinely think those two robots are awesome in their own right. They really should make transforming robots out of everything

I’ve used a few Bodie tunes on my mixes, he has done some amazing remixes of gangsta rap tunes, turning them into heavy vocal dubstep tunes, so I was dead happy when I heard his new mix was also really good. This is how dubstep should sound if you ask me, heavy but mellow at the same time w00t w00t!
